Someone asked to see what I used to make videos for youtube. So here is a quick edit I made of my main cameras that I have around the house, in my work tool bag, my phone, etc.
Most of these videos (except my Cannon miniDV) save on a SD card as .mov files which is Apple's Quick Time Video format. Lately I am using Windows Movie Maker to do the final edit but it doesn't accept .mov format. So using Quick Time Pro I export to a raw .avi format then Windows Move Maker or any other editor will work fine.
The cameras I still have and use are my Cannon miniDV (used rarely), Kodak Z712 on a 4 Gig SDHC card, Kodak C340 on a 2 Gig SD card (what I use at work), and my Palm Treo 700wx with a 4 Gig SDHC card.
